Instructions - Please Read!

Dear Client,

Per our conversation, please complete the Online Tax Organizer we designed to help you gather the information required to prepare your Partnership Income Tax Return. Please answer all of the questions and provide all information and documents requested in this form, so we may begin preparing your tax return and get you all of the deductions and credits that you deserve. All information you provide is strictly confidential, and we shall not disclose any of your personal information without your specific consent.

IMPORTANT: Estimated average time needed to complete this form is 50 minutes. Please complete this form in one session. You also can save the partially completed form and continue later by clicking the “Save and Continue Later” button at the bottom of the form and following the prompts.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) matches information returns/forms with amounts reported on tax returns. A negligence penalty may be assessed when income is underreported or deductions are overstated. Accordingly, all information returns reflecting amounts reported to the IRS are also mailed or delivered to taxpayers in an envelope marked “IMPORTANT TAX RETURN DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED” and should be submitted with this organizer. Before completing the form, you may need digital copies (PDF, Photo, Excel, Word, etc.) of the following documents (not all may apply to you or your business):

PLEASE: Generally, we ask clients to provide all information in one session. However, if you do not have one or more of the requested documents or information on hand, you can skip that specific question(s) and complete / submit the information you currently have. We will follow up with you regarding any missing documents and information afterward. Please use the explanation field in the applicable questions.

The annual filing deadline for your income tax return is generally March 15. Your completed tax organizer needs to be received no later than February 28, or 7 business days after the you've signed the engagement letter and were asked by us to fill out the tax organizer, whichever is sooner. Any information received after that date may require an extension to be filed for this return.

If an extension of time is required, any tax due must be paid with that extension. Any taxes not paid by the filing deadline may be subject to late-payment penalties and interest. If you don’t pay a reasonable estimate of your tax liability, your extension may be deemed invalid, subjecting you to late-filing penalties.
